If you are shortlisted you will be invited to an interview at STTA. We want to get to know you and to understand your strengths. But, more importantly, we want to recognise your potential to become a great teacher. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss your skills and experience, and why you want to become a teacher. There will also be an opportunity to work with students, and to demonstrate your skills in numeracy and literacy.

The interview process will include:

• Written tasks 
• An interview 
• A short teaching task which you will be able to prepare in advance. 

We are committed to providing a high-quality experience for prospective trainees and have planned our interview process
accordingly. We will contact all successful applicants at the end of the interview day. Similarly, we will provide feedback if we have not made an offer and give you advice on the next steps.
