We train and support teachers at every stage of their career

We recruit new trainees into the profession, support Newly Qualified Teachers, offer professional learning in a wide range of topics, and develop middle and senior leaders.

We train teachers for early years, primary, special and secondary schools

Our one-year teacher training course offers a blend of hands-on experience in the classroom, plus academic teaching at university.

We run the only national teacher training course for modern languages

The National Modern Languages SCITT is also a unique partnership between state and independent schools, with geographical hubs across the country.

We provide NQT induction services, including support and training for tutors and mentors.

For just £330 per NQT per academic year, we provide a simple, online service - run by a highly experience team who are on-hand throughout the year to answer your questions.

We run the Outstanding Teacher programme

This national programme gives good and outstanding teachers a set of high level skills and strategies that enable them to become consistently and sustainably outstanding.

We provide subject specialism training, plus a range of CPD courses

Our alliance across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire brings together the skills and experience of a large number of teachers - all ready to train and support their colleagues.

We provide School to School support across the region

Our team of SLEs (Specialist Leaders of Education) work with colleagues in local schools to provide support based on outstanding classroom practice.

We help our trainee teachers get their first job

From working in banking to becoming a business and economics teacher….

“There were so many rules in banking and so little flexibility over my day to day tasks. Becoming a teacher gave me so much everyday freedom. I can choose how I teach each lesson, I can be as creative as I want, and I get to make a difference to young people.
