Get School Experience – secondary

Are you thinking of becoming a secondary school teacher? Want to get a taste of what it’s like? Then you are invited to Silverdale School as part of the Get School Experience programme on Friday 24 February 2023 where you will get the chance to experience working within a real school environment and see what it’s like to be a teacher.

The programme covers a range of activities where you will spend the day at Silverdale School in Sheffield. You will get the chance to observe lessons in a specific subject that you may be interested in teaching including art and design, maths, English, geography, history, languages plus many more. You will see how teachers manage a classroom, speak to tutors and interact with pupils and learn more about teacher training including the application and interview process.
