The Sheffield Teaching Training Alliance (STTA) is rooted in Silverdale School, an Ofsted-rated Outstanding school in Sheffield.
Working in partnership
Over the past few years we have built the alliance across Sheffield and the Peak District, working with over 60 schools - including nursery, primary, special and secondary schools.
Key to our ethos is a belief that schools should be working together to share knowledge and skills. Whatever your school, whatever your Trust, if you believe in improving education for the benefit of all students, then we want to work with you.
Governance and oversight
The governance of STTA is centred in Chorus Education Trust, of which Silverdale is the founding school. The Chorus Board of Trustees has a sub-committee dedicated to providing oversight of the Teaching Alliance, meeting every term to review its business and development plan.
